Mindings presents at Google Campus Mental Health event

Mindings‘ Stuart Arnott was a guest at Google Campus today, presenting at the “iBehave” MeetUp event.

iBehave focusses on the usage of technology as an enabler of behaviour change, by enabling behavioural transition from risk behaviours to those akin with positive health outcomes.

Organised by ex-Unilever health innovator Luke Raskino, iBehave is a monthly interdisciplinary event, connecting entrepeneurs, developers, UX designers, gamification experts, medical practitioners and anyone interested in behaviour change.

This month’s event was entitled “Mental Health & Behaviour Change“, and featured presentations and a panel discussion with Stuart and:

Mark Brown: Editor of One in Four Magazine, England’s only national mental health and wellbeing magazine written by people who experience mental health difficulties. (Mark is a vocal supporter of Mindings, having guested on The Disruptive Social Care Podcast and speaking about Mindings “importance”)

Dr Eva Cyhlarova: Head of Research, Mental Health Foundation. Following a D.Phil. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford, Eva worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics in Oxford. She pursued research in several scientific fields related to mental health, managing a number of large-scale projects.

A lively panel discussion followed the event, with much interest in Mindings impact on social isolation – a very relevant issue in mental health.
