Okay, so we got a bit carried away yesterday thinking we were going to support England yesterday! We'd barely arrived at the stadium when we joined up with some Trinidadians.
I'd like to think it was more a case of cheering on the underdog than an anti-English feeling, though. The Trinidad people we met were so friendly and welcoming and they all knew about Jason Scotland so embraced us as brothers.
We were gutted when they didn't get that last minute consolation goal. They had some touches of real brilliance in the game, and mark our words they'll be back, and we'll be supporting them - but only because they are a lovely bunch of people.
